WHO DOES’NT LOVE PLANTS, THEY MAKE BEAUTIFUL DECOR INDOORS OR OUTDOORS… YOU CAN HAVE A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN INSIDE THE HOME, THERE’S NOTHING BETTER THAN THAT GARDEN LOOK……I DID SOME RESEARCH INTO PLANTS AND FOUND THEY OFFER MORE THAN JUST THE DECOR….
Multiple studies have found that plants in the workspace increase both productivity and creativity. One frequently cited study from 1996 found that students in a campus computer lab worked 12 percent faster and were less stressed when plants were placed nearby.
They Help to Improve Mood
Plants can also positively impact your mood. A significant body of research has demonstrated a link between improved mood and the presence of plants. One study, in particular, found that active interaction with plants, and even potting soil, can help to reduce daily stress. This is thanks to tiny microbes, nicknamed “outdoorphins,” that are present in plants and soil that act as natural antidepressants.
Having plants in your home or office can be a source of pleasure. Indoor gardening relieves stress, boosts creativity, productivity, and focus, and promotes recovery. There’s some evidence that houseplants may positively influence the air quality in your home as well.
Much like every other being, plants require a certain amount of attention in order to thrive. At times when I wasn’t doing my best, the brown, shriveled ends of my plants’ leaves reflected my pain and vice versa.
PSYCHOLOGICAL BENEFITS OF PLANTS
Besides instantly boosting a home’s aesthetic, studies show that being surrounded by greenery can help with cleaning the surrounding air, creating a sense of well-being, and enhancing your life.
